Mother’s Day Minis

On May 4th, 2024, I held a Mother’s Day Mini Event! I had three Mamas and their kiddos come and also let Dads hop in for some shots! This day was SO special to me BECAUSE I just became a Mommy myself in December 2023! I had a complex pregnancy needing IVF to become pregnant and complications starting at 6.5 months resulting in a two month hospitalization prior to delivering my baby boy! I ended up cancelling 13 photo shoots at the end of last year due to my two-month permanent residency at Presbyterian Saint Luke’s Hospital. This Mother’s Day was MY first mother’s day and my return behind the lens! It was a good way to return to shooting because my passion for women and their babies and preggo Mamas became 5 million times larger after my own journey to motherhood! Mothers are amazing, and this was my way of honoring a few! It was also a way of honoring my own love of working as a photographer and capturing moments in time that will never occur again and that will always be cherished! So much love to all the Mamas out there! All that they do. All that they are! And, all the sleep that they lose! #Superwomen
